Make sure you're playing in a well-lit room and that your hands are clearly visible to the front camera, roughly 1–2 feet (30–60 cm) away. Avoid strong backlighting (e.g. sitting directly in front of a window). If tracking still seems off, return to the main menu and run Calibration again.

Bring your thumb and index finger fully together, directly over the note you want to catch, and keep your hand inside the camera's field of view. The on-screen reticle will fill in and glow when a pinch is detected. If you're new to GraBeat, the tutorial includes an animated demo showing exactly how the gesture should look.

Yes. Each time you start a game, GraBeat shows a Photo Booth screen with a toggle. Turn it on if you'd like GraBeat to capture a few in-game photos with the cyberpunk filter, shown at the end of the round — you can choose whether to save them to your Photos library afterward. Leave it off and GraBeat will only use the camera for hand tracking.

All hand-tracking is processed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework — nothing is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. Photo Booth images are only created if you opt in, and are only saved to your device's Photo Library if you choose to save them. GraBeat does not collect or transmit any personal data.
